One of the consistent comments we hear from parents and students alike at North Cobb Christian School is how NCCS just “feels like home”…. how everyone seems like “family.” Well, this isn’t achieved through happenstance but rather through the intentional cultivation of authentic relationships between our teachers and students, parents and teachers … and students with each other!
The Timothy Program is hands down one of the best things we do at NCCS when it comes to building a nurturing environment for our students by placing younger students with older student mentors.
We had a very special time at our 2019-2020 Timothy Program reveal breakfast this morning! It is incredibly touching to see our older students stepping up to mentor and pour into our younger students!!
The NCCS Timothy Program was founded around the premise of iron sharpening iron, found in Proverbs 27:17. Each year, dozens of our Upper School students step up to mentor our Lower and Middle School students, meeting regularly to encourage, support and “sharpen” one another.
Just one of the tangible programs that create the “family” experience NCCS is known for!
