HIS PLAN | OUR TIME

The His Plan|Our Time (HP|OT) capital campaign was launched to secure funds for a 38,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Upper School building, including classrooms, office space, student collaborative space, and a much-needed parking lot — plus a STEM Center with a robotics lab, physics lab and makerspace. This building will greatly impact our Upper School students, while also freeing up critical space within our existing main building for our growing Lower and Middle Schools.

His Plan | Our Time FAQ

When will the school break ground on the new building?

Thanks to an anonymous foundation challenge grant of $1,000,000 towards the His Plan|Our Time Capital Campaign, we are only $1.5 million away from reaching our goal of $10,300,000. This means … cue the DRUMROLL … that we will potentially break ground THIS fall, in 2019, on our Upper School building and new parking lot! This would be SIX months earlier than planned AND occur without taking on one cent of debt. We also recently received a donation of $45,000, bringing our final total to only $1.455 million. Once we raise this, the foundation will send us the final $1,000,000 to complete the campaign. With God, all things are possible!

Who is contributing?

One of the most inspiring aspects of the current His Plan|Our Time capital campaign has been the involvement and excitement we’ve seen across a broad spectrum of people connected to North Cobb Christian School. We have received support from grandparents, parents, alumni, alumni parents, teachers, board members, staff members, students, corporations, community partners, and foundations.

This diverse participation shows the shared vision we all hold as family at NCCS. At our core, we are united in our belief that God is doing something big at this school, and we are committed to the Kingdom benefit that will come with our campus expansion. We are joining together to impact future generations for Him.

Can my company contribute a matching gift?

Yes, many companies match charitable giving. Currently, matching gifts make up over $150,000 pledged to the campaign. Simply ask the owner or HR director of your company if they match or are willing to do so.

Companies who match include The Home Depot, Pitney Bowes, The Coca-Cola Company, Quest Diagnostics, IBM Corporation, Wells Fargo, Assurant Group, Intercontinental Exchange, Federated Insurance, Delta Airlines, The CLOROX Company, and many more.

How can I participate?

First and foremost, please pray for the campaign and those involved. Please also pray about how your family might financially support the campaign. If you feel led to contribute to His Plan|Our Time, please contact Tara Dorsey at 770-975-0252, ext. 136.
