BEGINNING THE JOURNEY
We are so glad you’re interested in partnering with North Cobb Christian School! We’d love to help you get started with the admissions process. Follow the steps below, and please reach out to Admissions at 770-975-0252 ext. 501 with any questions along the way.
Step One: Request information.
Complete our initial request for information. This will connect you with our Admissions team, who will reach out directly to learn more about your family.
Step Two: Plan a visit.
Plan a time to come talk to us; we’d love to meet you! We offer three opportunities to connect face-to-face.
Step Three: Apply online.
Create an account via our ParentsWeb portal and follow the instructions to complete the online application. A non-refundable application fee of $100 is required for each student.
After submitting the application, you will be able to log into your account to track your admissions status and monitor when the school receives supplemental application documents, such as records requests and reference forms.
Step Four: Set up testing.
Once you have submitted your application online, our Admissions team will set up testing to review your child academically.
Step Five: Family Interview
Your family will be invited in for an interview with the principal(s) of your child(ren)’s division.
To be considered as a candidate for NCCS, prospective students should:
Demonstrate academic compatibility with the expectations of the school.
Score in the 50th percentile or above on the school’s nationally standardized entrance test in math and reading.
Have average to above average school ability, as indicated by a nationally standardized test (given during entrance testing, grades 4-12).
Have appropriate grade-level reading and writing skills.
Be strongly recommended by all required sources.
Receive strong recommendations from teachers and character references, as required on the online application.
Demonstrate emotional and spiritual compatibility.
Desire a Christian education and preferably be involved in a local church.
Have no recent history of serious behavioral problems.
Criteria for acceptance is based on the complete application including, but not limited to, test results, report card grades and comments, conduct, standardized test scores, references, desire for a Christian education, and a family interview.
Diversity + Inclusion
Receive strong recommendations from teachers and character references, as required on the online application. NCCS admits students of any race, color or national origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students in the school, including its administrative policies, financial aid, fine arts, athletics, and other school administered programs.
NCCS reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant or to discontinue the enrollment of a student if the conduct within the home or the conduct of the student is in opposition to the biblical lifestyle upheld by the school, as evidenced by the school’s Statement of Faith. This includes sexual immorality, homosexual orientation or inability to support the moral principles of the school.
Statement of Faith
Parents must sign that they agree with the school’s Statement of Faith and support the inclusion of its perspective in all areas of life.
Preschool + Kindergarten Readiness
To enter K3, K4, Junior kindergarten, K5 or first grade, a student must be developmentally ready for our program (including being potty trained).
If your child is currently enrolled in another school system, the majority of the documentation required below will be automatically secured by the NCCS Admissions team once you complete your online application. Parents may also submit documents directly. Homeschool parents and parents of new preschool or kindergarten students will likely need to secure documents directly. We will gladly walk you through any questions you have, so please don’t hesitate to ask!
An application fee of $100 per student (non-refundable and non-transferable)

Copy of Eye, Ear, and Dental Examination Form (obtained from physician)
Copy of Georgia Certificate of Immunization Form (obtained from physician)
Two previous years’ report cards, plus current year partial report card
Previous years’ standardized test scores
Copy of test results for giftedness or learning difference (if applicable)
Student recommendations are included as part of the online application process. When applying, you will be prompted to submit references’ email addresses, and an inquiry to those references will then be automatically sent from the school. Required references include:
Pastoral / Community Reference | All applicants
Teacher Recommendation | Grades 1 – 12 (Math + Language Arts teacher for grades 5-12)
Guidance Counselor / Request for Records | Grades 1-12
