1pm-4pm Co-Ed campers entering 7th-10th grade
Description: Mr. Blankenbecler has taught middle school for 25 years. His main subject is Science but he is certified in Social Studies, Math, P.E. and gifted. His own children have been very successful in high school and college and his daughter was the 2015 Vince J. Dooley Scholarship winner. In addition, Mr. B has published a study skills book available at Amazon.
Learn how to lower your stress and improve your grades. This study skills boot camp is designed to teach middle school students how to do their best in school. Students will learn about the five pillars of school success.
- Workspace (both stationary and mobile aka backpack)
- Time management
- Study Aids (Including specific tips and memorization techniques)
- Test-taking Strategies & Project strategies (How to master the art of projects)
The boot camp will be fun, hands-on and practical.
What to Bring: water bottle and a snack
Morning Care is available for the morning 4th - 6th grad camp from 7:30am -9:00am. Following morning care your child will be walked to the camp. The cost is $35 per week. There is no Aftercare available for this camp.
