Started in 2003 as the North Atlanta School of the Arts (NASOTA), the Academy of the Arts is the oldest Academy at NCCS. With options in Visual Arts, Vocal Arts, Instrumental Arts, and Theatrical Arts, Upper School students who successfully pass an audition specifically designed for their discipline are invited to join the Academy.

“Being able to pick an educational track that lines up with my interests is a unique opportunity that most high schools don’t offer. It’s really rewarding to take courses that build towards my future.”

Listen to our amazing Academy Singers!

At NCCS, I was able to discover talents and a passion for the arts. My arts teachers, especially Mrs. Wallace through the Academy Singers, really helped me to develop and hone my vocal abilities.
