Why I love Teaching:
Like my colleagues at North Cobb Christian School, the Lord has placed in me a passion to inspire students of all ages to learn beyond expectation, especially for those with learning challenges. Proverbs 2:6 reinforces that all learning is from God. “For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come
knowledge and understanding.” With the training and background I have in education,
processing development, and learning styles, I work systematically to inspire, and mediate
students to become aware of their great abilities given by God. My highest joy is helping
students discover His ways and the depths of His understanding and character; bringing them to
a place of growth, and maturity in ‘learning how to learn.
Golden Moment Teaching at NCCS:
My special moments at NCCS are those times throughout the week when students discover
information from a totally new perspective or achieve a goal they felt unattainable. Their eyes
brighten and hope begins to dawn. Their excitement is my inspiration and reward. I also cherish
the brief moments before beginning sessions with each student when we bring before the Lord
our request for His divine insight and grace.
Why I work at NCCS:
Coming to North Cobb Christian School was truly a divine appointment for me. From the first
day I became a part of the Moving Forward Department, I sensed a unity among faculty and staff
that I recognized would foster great learning. Each employee has unique gifting and an equal
commitment to the students and families served, making NCCS an exciting place to work and
